As part of the prestigious British Hand Surgery Stack Fellowship prize Mr Naqui has visited the world famous centre of Hand & Wrist Surgery in Barcelona. Meeting with Professors Marc Garcia-Elias & Angel Ferreres, Mr Naqui had the opportunity to discuss complex wrist cases including disorders of the scaphoid, lunate, DRUJ and mid-carpal joint. The highlight of the visit was the Biomechanics Lab at University Barcelona where Prof. Garcia-Elias is conducting groundbreaking research on the Mid-carpal joint of the wrist.
