Mr Naqui is a Consultant Hand, Wrist & Upper Limb Surgeon. His NHS practice is at Salford Royal Foundation Trust (Hope Hospital), one of the leading teaching hospitals of the University of Manchester. He is the Lead for Clinical Governance & Patient Safety in Trauma & Orthopaedics. He is a Council Member for both the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and the Federation of European Surgical Societies of the Hand (FESSH). He is an examiner for the British Hand diploma and European Board Hand Diploma. He is a committee member for the ‘ BSSH Instructional courses in Hand Surgery ‘. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester. Mr Naqui is Chair of the North West Surgical Hand Society and SAS Hand Manchester.

Antalya, Turkey Mr Naqui was delighted to be awarded the prestigious European Hand Diploma at a ceremony during the annual FESSH Conference. He received his award from Chairman of European Hand Examiners, Maurizio Calcagni of Switzerland.
