Read more →Mr Naqui attended a collaborators meeting for Trigger Finger. The TRIGGER trial will look at the use of steroid injections for this condition. It is the first international trial of its kind.
Read more →Mr Naqui delivered a tutorial on injection techniques for the hand and wrist. Topics included, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Trigger Finger, De Quervain’s Tendonitis, Ganglions and Base of Thumb Arthritis. The event was a huge success with attendance from GP’s across the north west.
Read more →Mr Naqui was appointed as one of the leads for the region for sub-specialist hand trauma. This role is to help develop better pathways of care for patients in the north west who have suffered from an injury to their hand and wrist.
Read more →Mr Naqui attended a joint meeting between the hand surgery societies of Britain, Europe and the International Federation Of Societies for Surgery of the Hand. Productive discussions were held in preparation for the London 2022 joint conference. The BSSH is delighted to be hosting the IFSSH 2022 meeting.

Read more →Mr Naqui helped run the 45th instructional course in hand surgery at the Manchester conference centre as part of his committee role. He also delivered a lecture on the principles and indications of finger amputation.
